  • Designer Sandy Liang founded her eponymously named label in 2014 after graduating from the Parsons School of design. Liang grew up in New York, exploring Chinatown with her grandmother and spending time at her family’s restaurant, and mines this period of youth for ideas of nostalgia, utility, and girliness that feed her work. These themes extend to her growing list of highly sought-after collaborative projects that include Vans, BAGGU, Warby Parker, Salomon, and more. Liang explores and expands her unique notion of girlhood through clothing and accessories adapted from and informed by her past. Fleece jackets, satin ballet flats, dresses and skirts adorned with satin bows, and accessories like heart-shaped jewelry and lace veils lend the finishing touches on feminine ensembles intended to be worn with casual ease. Liang designs with girls in mind, with collections that embody a playful and unfussy cool.
